About this villa rental
This waterfront stone built villa was a Post Office while Montenegro was still part of former Yugoslavia and is still called 'Stara Posta' (Old Post Office) by the locals. Restored in traditional style, with quality contemporary features, air conditioned and lovingly decorated, the house comprises: 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room-diner, modern kitchen, a second living room and a large private terrace. The sea is 5 m away from the gate. Here you can enjoy luxury, peace and privacy on the seafront of the romantic, exclusive Rose village. Rose is one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast, known from Roman times. It offers lovely panoramic views over a crystal clear sea. 'Stara Posta' is not just a rental property perfect for relaxation, but a unique holiday experience. From the moment one steps through the gate, via private terrace, and into the first living room of this lovely house, it's the beginning of a journey through time, and a journey towards total relaxation. The house was built in a traditional Adriatic style, and its new British owners have invested a lot of thought and knowledge in restoring it to a contemporary villa, while preserving the best traditional features. A lot of thought has been given to guests' comfort and the calming beauty of the place. The rooms are spacious, filled with natural light, tastefully furnished in an authentic Mediterranean style. The bathrooms are modern, spacious, each with a walk-in shower. The four bedrooms are tranquil, comfortable, with great views, each with own A/C; three with own en-suite bathrooms. There are two living rooms: a smaller one upstairs and a large, open plan living room-diner on the ground floor. The kitchen offers all contemporary amenities, plus the timeless feel of the Mediterranean. It opens up to a terrace with a large dining table, so guests can dine inside or al-fresco. Please note that the nearest parking space is roughly 300m away from the house

A beautifully presented quayside stone villa in the historic village of Rose right on the edge of sea. Very friendly welcome from Sladjana with all our needs found. Ideal for the children to roam freely as Rose quay is traffic free but ample parking is available nearby. Take Miki's ferry to Herceg Novi and to local sights and beaches. Just a short drive from Tivat Airport and the fascinating World Heritage Site Kotor and beyond.

Das Ferinhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für uns, 4 Pärchen, war es wichtig, dass mindestens 3 Bäder vorhanden sind. Die Lage ist der absolute Hammer! Unmittelbar an der Bucht gelegen, keine 10 m bis zum Wasser. Es gibt in dem kleinen Ort Rose am Meer keine Straße so das es auch keine Autos gibt. Vom letzten Parkplatz bis zum Haus sind es ca. 300m, die man , auch mit Reisegepäck, gern in Kauf nimmt. Rechts neben dem Haus wohnt Mika, der mit seinem Boot mehrmals täglich über die Bucht nach Herceg Novi fährt. Man kann mit ihm auch zur nahegelegnen "Blauen Höhle" fahren und das alles zu absolut fairen Preisen. Links neben dem Haus gibt es ein gutes Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten. Ein Mietwagen ist zwingend notwendig, zum Lebensmitteleinkauf im nächstgelegnen Dorf fährt man ca. 20 min. Ana, unsere Hausverwalterin, war als Ansprechpartner immer da. Einfach super Service. Hoffentlich bleibt das stückchen Erde noch lange ein "Geheimtipp" .

This traditional property was spacious and well equipped, with a friendly bar/restaurant adjacent. The staff responsible for the property were welcoming and efficient; on hand also to answer any questions or queries. We realised a little late in our stay that a couple of Vans visit the village on a regular basis, supplying fresh fruit, veg , milk, bread and water. This was handy as the nearest mini market/supermarket was a car or boat trip away. Perhaps this is something that can be included as 'useful information' for future guests.
