This beautifully restored farmhouse tucked into the pine-covered mountains of Ardèche is a dream for nature lovers and peace seekers. With only one neighbor nearby and direct access to scenic hiking trails, it’s the perfect escape for those craving tranquility and fresh mountain air.
Just 2 km away lies the charming village of Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid, home to the renowned Clos des Cimes-Découverte Hotel&Spa — a 3-star Michelin experience that’s a must for culinary enthusiasts. Whether you're indulging in gourmet cuisine or unwinding at the spa, it’s a luxurious complement to your rustic retreat.
Inside, the farmhouse exudes warmth and character. Antique furnishings, thick stone walls, and cozy box beds create a timeless ambiance. In summer, the cool interiors offer respite from the heat, while in winter, underfloor heating and a roaring fireplace make it irresistibly snug.
The region offers a buffet of outdoor adventures — cycling, canoeing, horse riding, climbing, and even windsurfing or sailing on Lac de Devesset. Just be mindful: the final stretch to the house is a rugged dirt road, so leave the sports car behind and embrace the off-road charm.

We stayed with friends and had a blast! The kids loved the outdoor space, The hosts were super friendly and helped us with directions to the village for dinner, The Michelin restaurant nearby was such a treat!

Midden in een groene bubbel met op enige afstand behulpzame buurma Luc en gezin. Authentiek huis waar de stroom. Zo nu en dan uitvalt en je zodoende ook geen water hebt om te douchen en de wc te gebruiken. En natuurlijk ook geen WiFi..... heerlijk! Een geweldige week in de natuur gehad!

Maison très fidèle à l’annonce, très bien équipée. Accueil très chaleureux, emplacement idéal pour déconnecter, pas de réseau, au calme, isolé de tout. Accès cependant un peu compliqué car chemin très pentu et caillouteux.
