About this villa rental
Lovely stone house, on three levels, part of an ancient farm complex that dates back to the late Middle Ages. The property, which in the past was used as cellar to store wine, was recently renovated and furnished with great care and taste. The house is immersed in the green valley of Mugello, a few kilometres from Florence, in a panoramic position and is surrounded by a beautiful fenced garden of 1.500mq. equipped with pool for exclusive use of the guests (9m. x 4m. prof. 140cm.). The property also has a nice porch that can be used for outdoor dining and private parking with charging station for electric vehicles. Wi-Fi. The property is 3.5 km. from "Vicchio" (birthplace of Giotto and Fra Angelico), at 37km. from Florence, 23km. from the "Barberino Designer Outlet" (over 100 stores of major brands of Italian and international fashion) and Lake "Bilancino" (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing), at 20km. the "Poggio dei Medici Golf Club", at 3.5km. riding stables.
NOTE: One side of the property and a portion of the garden is bordering with "Terrazza dei Frati", that is about 30 m. away and it is separated simply by a laurel hedge. Both houses have a separate entrance, outdoor pool and private spaces. Possibility to book both houses together.

On the mezzanine floor: kitchen with four burner hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher; 1 bathroom with a sauna/shower (wc/bidet).
On the first floor: 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with two single beds.
Very comfortable furnishings.
The following might be to be paid extra: Air conditioning, Final Cleaning, Heating, Pets, Refundable Security Deposit in cash or by credit card, Tourist tax.

Really enjoyed our holiday, relaxing by the pool taking in the view.
We found the rail network easy to access… only 1.5 hours to Florence from Dicomano.
There’s a lovely park and cycle/walk way in Vicchio (park is Lago di Montelleri and cycle/walk way by the river is Pista Ecotourism Sieve).
