About this cottage rental
Nestled in the hollow of a charming small valley, in the heart of a preserved natural site, come and discover this old mill from the 19th century. It sits on 2 hectares of land; after crossing the apple orchard, you will reach the wild river that winds at the bottom of the property.
The mill, located next to the owners' house, includes 3 lodgings for 2 to 3 people, each with their own entrance. The gîte "Le Moulin" is on the ground floor. Composed of a bedroom with shower room and a living room with a beautiful fireplace.
Geographically, it is 5km from Concarneau, 7km from the first beaches of Finistère and 10kms from Pont Aven, city of painters.
Concarneau is a lively and picturesque seaside resort, with beaches like Le Cabellou and Sables Blancs, and many small hidden coves. It is also famous for its "Ville Close", an old fortified town, with its cobbled streets, its shops and restaurants, and also famous for its marina and its cafes by the water. The boat trip from the port to the Glénan Islands, a nature reserve with crystal clear waters and white sand, will make the day unforgettable. In the region, many festivals and events take place during the summer and many outdoor activities are possible.

Really loved the place Jean Yves is a fantastic host we had the complete run of the place we had our two dogs with us and it was so nice being able to relax and let them roam free just like they do at home.

Wer die Bretagne, ihre Natur und ihre historischen Häuser liebt, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft liegt im Erdgeschoss einer alten Mühle, im Eingangsbereich sieht man noch die alten Mühlsteine, an der Außenseite die Vorrichtungen fürs Mühlrad. Innen sind die Wohnbereiche (Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile, extra Toilette, Schlafzimmer mit Waschbecken und eingebauter Dusche) liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. WLAN funktioniert top. Aber das Schönste ist der "Garten": große Rasenfläche mit Obstbäumen, begrenzt von einem murmelnden Bach, Wald drum herum. Herrlich für Hunde wie meinen eigenen, mit dem ich verreist bin. Gastgeber Jean-Ives spricht auch Englisch und versorgte mich mit tollen Ausflugstipps. Sein neugieriges Huhn namens Babette läuft frei herum und hat sich sofort mit mir und meinem Hund angefreundet. Auch Jean-Yves’ eigener, betagter Hund ist ein freundlicher Geselle. Ich kann die Location nur empfehlen.
