The campsite was perfectly placed to access the town, the beach and good quality restaurants. We booked particularly for the dog friendly beach and it exceeded our expectations.
The site was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful woods and green spaces and was very relaxing.
We understood when booking that the restaurant would be open which was important for us.When we arrived, were told that the restaurant was closed for the season and so was the pool.
There was a lack of communication with the site staff. For a couple of days we were not able to drink the water in our cabin; there was a local problem which was ok, it happens but we were not informed by the staff. When we questioned it, we were told not to drink the water. They should have informed us, maybe by email or sending a message. We tried to buy water from reception but were told we couldn't because it was for bar customers; we didn't have any water to drink!
