About this apartment rental
We are Silvia and Michele and welcome you to Rosso Magenta! Our apartment is located on the fifth floor with elevator of a noble palace of the early '900; is bright and from our balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the center of Genoa and also of a glimpse of the sea. Our house is located in a strategic position to visit Genoa, a stone's throw from the center, in the elegant and quiet neighborhood of Castelletto, green and quiet.
The bedroom and living room are both equipped with a king-size bed, ie a sofa that easily transforms into bed. They are very comfortable, we have personally tested them.
The kitchen has everything you can need (Michele is a cook ...), oven, small appliances, micronde oven, dishwasher etc., and left some breakfast products and if you want to cook something at home.
The apartment has just been restructured with us with love and creativity to make it a unique place. Here you can savor the air of distant worlds: we are great travelers and we have furnished the home with objects from many of the countries we have visited, which you can find in the great map of the world hanging in the living room.
Generally you will have the entire apartment available. If, however, at home we would be happy to welcome you personally and give you tips for a good Genoese stay! You can speak to us in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. We will always be available to give you all the information you need and also advise you on good places to eat.
We are halfway through the Funicular Sant'Anna, just a few steps from Via Garibaldi, where you can find the beautiful noble palaces of the Rolli (UNESCO World Heritage Site). At a glance (about 5 minutes on foot), through the typical Genoese creoles, you can immerse yourself in the largest historic center in Europe, with its quaint alleys where you can find theaters, cinemas, bars, restaurants and typical shops and reach from there the Old Port and the Aquarium. When visiting Genova, the car is best to forget it, but you do not need it because the house is close to everything you want to visit. However, there is parking for a fee at about 30 meters from the house and, if you are lucky, no charge on our way. From Rosso Magenta you can easily reach both Genova's Piazza Principe and Brignole stations, within 20 minutes or a few minutes by bus.
If you are a larger group, we can offer you more hospitality by networking with other hospitality facilities, which are right in our own condo!

Beautiful place, great area. Awesome apartment and balcony to sip evening wine and view the city. Loved having an elevator finally in Italy after 4 weeks. I have lugged my suitcases up sooo many stairs!! Ciao! Joe

We enjoyed our stay in Genoa. Silvia the host was very helpful; she communicated well. We had everything we needed for the two nights that we stayed in the area. We were there in July. There was no A/C but we were comfortable opening the windows which provided a cool, steady breeze.
The apartment was fully furnished with all of the amenities that we needed and there were two fans to help circulate the air-flow. We also enjoyed the character and nostalgia of the lift. The apartment was on the fifth floor, but it was very easy to access. The building had a lot of character to it. We were able to navigate easily by using the buses, taxes, and accessing the funicular, which was just steps away.

Easy place to stay and nice apartment. Close to old town and everything Genoa has to offer. Was very hot during the stay so was good to have fans!
