About this villa rental
Villa Aurabelle is a Provencal style house in a quiet residential area of Vence with total privacy (no other people on the property).
It is "away from everything" and close to (almost) everything at the same time.
The 4,000 m² property at the end of a private cul-de-sac opens to the south and southeast. It offers a panoramic view of the picturesque coastal landscape of the Côte d'Azur and the sea. Meadows around the house offer space for leisure activities and in summer the private pool with its underwater lighting provides refreshment. Parking for max. 3 cars are available. The house itself is fully equipped (including free internet via WiFi) and furnished in a provincial style with an open fireplace, tomette floors and antique components.
There are three bedrooms for a total of six people. One bedroom is separate with the attached bathroom.
The other two bedrooms are connected and accessible via the stairs in the living room. Therefore one of them is not closed from the living room. The toilet on the ground floor is separate. The toilet on the first floor is combined with the second bathroom.
Terms of Service:
A 25% deposit is required upon reservation. The remaining amount is due 30 days before arrival at the latest. The villa is fully equipped for up to 6 people.
The tenant is expected to take out damage insurance to cover any accident or damage on the premises. The owner assumes no responsibility.
The check-in and check-out is done by a local agency (with French and English speaking staff).
You will receive the contact details after a binding booking.
Small print:
We offer you the option of bringing your own household linen (bed linen and towels). Alternatively, you can order the linen from the service agency. The set costs €35 per person and, according to the service agency, includes bed linen, a large bath towel, 1 hand towel, a bath rug and a tea towel. You order the linen directly from the agency in good time before travelling.
The service agency will also arrange the handover of the house keys with you.
The costs for the consumption of electricity (0.25 €/kwh), water (3.31€/m³) and oil (according to purchase price) will be charged to you on site.
According to legal regulations, the pool must be secured to prevent accidents. Please cover the pool with the tarpaulin provided when not in use.

Very nice property with a great view. Somewhat remote away from the crowd which we liked.We would go back when in this area again.

The location is spectacular, but the approach is a track with potholes and very narrow in places. It is quite remote and not close to any shops or cafes etc - a car is essential. The villa is extremely well equipped and the sitting room and dining room are very comfortable.
However it is old and damp which can be seen on the walls in places - our clothes also felt damp on packing to leave.
We were surprised to be charged for water and electricity on leaving as the info suggested that these were included. On querying this we were advised that the normal allowance was just EUR20.00 whereas we had used EUR68.00. We were a party of only 3 and were definitely not excessive users of either utility so beware if you are a larger party. Bed linen and towels are only suppled at a cost of EUR35 per person and EUR 10 per towel. These figures are not listed in the published info but add a great deal to one’s stay - we provided our own!

We had a great time in the villa. The kids loved the pool and the surrounding views were amazing. Markus, the property manager was very approachable and helpful as he made our check-in and check-out so smooth. Our only negative was that the road access to the villa was very narrow and steep.
