About this house rental
Our house is in a quiet valley just outside Campagnano di Roma and in the unusually fortunate position of being only half an hour away from Rome, near the Vallelung race track, having four excellent golf courses all within easy reach - Olgiata Golf Club, Golf Nazionale in Sutri, Terre dei Consoli in Monterosi and Parco di Roma just north of Rome -, as well as beautiful Lakes Martignano and Bracciano (Anguillara, Trevignano Romano and Bracciano itself), and one of the best Air Force Museums in Europe at Vigna di Valle.
There are nice restaurants both in the village of Campagnano itself (as well as a good supermarket) and along the shores of Lake Bracciano.
The top two floors of the house make up a separate apartment (available year round) with its own entrance at the rear of the house. The flat has a living room, fully equipped kitchen/dining room with an induction stove, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, pots and pans, high chair and, for the winter,a lovely wood-burning cooker that will also keep you nice and warm. There is an outdoor dining/living area for the summer, three double bedrooms (two double - one with extra bed - and one twin, a baby cot is available if needed) each with its own en-suite bathroom. The swimming pool (available from early June to end September), large areas of the garden and table tennis are reserved exclusively to our guests.
Car is essential, plenty of space for parking.
We live on the ground floor so it’s a bit like a bed & breakfast except that we won’t make your beds and won’t give you breakfast (!), but we will always be there to help with information, advice etc. (if requested).
The flat is full of books you are welcome to borrow during your stay (including books for children).

This was a 10 out of 10 peaceful stay! Home and grounds are beautiful. We stayed with 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 4. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a living area to lounge and relax. The property has an amazing amount of books and there are puzzles too. The TVs weren’t on once. We loved the attention to detail such as products left in the bathrooms which were an additional help to what we brought as well as hairdryers, towels etc. Outside was brilliant for us and to be honest there really was no need to go elsewhere to entertain the kids. There was a climbing frame castle for the big kids and a little pirate ship for toddler aged guests. The gardens are huge and there was an area to relax under a tree with a swing, beautiful garden chairs and a hammock. There is also a table tennis table in an enclosed area which helped to keep the mosquitoes out. There was a badminton set, swing ball game and frisbees. The star of the show was the pool. Our kids were never out of it. It is well fenced off with a gate to keep little ones safe. There are sunbeds beside the pool as well as chairs and a parasol. In the pool shed there was a fantastic selection of inflatables, water guns and pool noodles to use. As the house is in the countryside you do need a car. Giovanna was amazing and even took us into the local town and recommended places to buy food and to eat out which was so kind. She was a brilliant host and we really appreciated her help and kindness!

Excellent size of apartment. Really lovely location but you definitely need a car to get around. You can't walk into town from the property due to wild boar and wolves. Pool was definitely a big hit with everybody and Giovanna was an excellent host wirh many recommendations for eating out and places to visit. The only negative was quite regular power cuts which also affected the water supply! Not great in 38 degree heat!

Tucked in the countryside, a short ride to Rome and beautiful villages on a lake, this quiet gem surrounded by luxurious nature allowed us to relax a couple of days after visiting Rome and experience the authenticity, beauty and historic wealth of this area and its people. The hosts are of extraordinary kindness, helpful in any way and discreet. Thank you for the wonderful experience we had as a family!

We loved staying here so much. Giovanna was incredibly communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was truly the highlight of the house and we were in it all day. She had lots of outdoor activities set up for us to keep us occupied which we all appreciated. The house itself was gorgeous and we were truly astonished by the beauty. The house is about 30 minutes walking away from the village which means a car is DEFINITELY needed. We didn't have time to get an international drivers license which means we couldn't rent a car so Giovanna's housekeeper, Pietro, drove us to the village about once a day. This gesture truly meant so much to us and seeing the beautiful village was so great. Overall, this home was perfect for all of us and we have absolutely no complaints. Thank you for everything!
