Set at 720 meters above sea level, this newly renovated holiday home sits on the sunny southern slope of Mount Simmersberg in Schnett, one of Thuringia’s highest localities. With healthy building materials and thoughtful design, the home offers both comfort and a sense of well-being. The living area, complete with a fireplace and panoramic forest views, makes a welcoming retreat after a day outdoors. In summer, parking is directly by the house, while in winter a nearby public lot ensures easy access even in snowy conditions.

Just a five-minute walk leads you to the famous Rennsteig hiking trail, perfect for long walks with friends, family, or pets. In winter, the area transforms into a snow sports hub with ski lifts in Masserberg, Heubach, and Fehrenbach, plus extensive cross-country and winter hiking trails. Dogs love exploring these scenic routes, and open meadows nearby offer safe spaces for play. Warmer months bring cycling, picnics, and forest walks—ideal for travelers who enjoy active days and time outdoors with their pets.
