About this farm stay rental
A holiday in the countryside between the Langhe and Monferrato, in an independent self-catering cottage, the Calendula of 80 m², located in a park of gardens, orchards, vineyards and oaks.
There is a private drive to the cottage and you can unload your car easily (free parking). The accommodation is one level floor with outdoor patio to enjoy your summer meals.
In the park you can enjoy the private pool with telescopic cover for the cooler months and throughout the property you have free WI-FI.
Pets are welcome and accepted prior arrangement.
The Calendula cottage has 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with bunk beds and in the large living-room a very comfortable double sofa bed and a single bed. It is elegantly furnished and with all the comforts: bright and well equipped kitchen; the bathroom with walk-in shower, hair dryer, washing machine..
We produce fresh and natural products that you can taste throughout the year in complete relaxation in a family-friendly environmental context.
Ideal for enjoying a fitness SPA in Acqui Terme or for shopping in major fashion stores or enjoy the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, Portofino, or a relaxing time by the pool after a day of trekking or of shopping.

We really enjoyed our short stay with Alessandra. The garden and surrounds are particularly nice, with abundant herbs, fruits and vines growing. Spectacular views of the mountains, and our host was friendly, accommodating and welcoming.

Aangekomen op de groene heuvel van het domein Villa Cheti, worden we verrast door de mooie sfeervolle gerestaureerde vakantiewoning.(eigenhandig door Carlo!) De rust die er heerst is bij ons onmiddellijk aangeslagen, een instant "La Dolce Vita" gevoel. Je kan je er laten verwennen door hun Biologische lekkernijnen, er zelf mee aan de slag gaan, of er gewoon gaan tussen wandelen. Je zit op een ruim domein, met goed zwembad, op 1km wandelen van een typisch Italiaans dorp(je) waar je de ganse dag op de terras van de plaatselijke cafe kan zitten wegdromen. Local gaan eten doe je bij Regina, de plaatselijke shops hebben de charme die je alleen in Italië terug kan vinden en de middeleeuwse brug ligt goed verstopt achter het dorpje.
Prachtige autoritten hebben we erop zitten om de steden en dorpjes in de omgeving te verkennen! Laat je niet misleiden, hier is een afstand van 50km echt wel een uur of ietsje meer rijden, maar je krijgt er herten, wilde roofvogels en prachtige uitzichten bij. Een Vespa tour in de buurt doen is een echte aanrader, de volgende keer huren we ook de fietsen.
Piëmonte zelf mag de zomer vakantiegangers nog iets beter omarmen, een gesloten informatiepunt halverwege augustus in Alessandria is geen warm welkom in de streek.
Kortom wil je genieten van groen, rust en toch de nodige portie cultureel erfgoed, gecombineerd met een mooi verblijf dat wordt uitgebaat door 2 prachtige warme Italiaanse mensen, vul je valies en rij naar Spigno Monferrato, Carlo en Alessandra zullen je met open armen ontvangen!

Wir mieteten beide Häuschen der Villa Cheti und machten Urlaub mit meinem Bruder aus den USA und seiner Familie. Ich liebte die Ruhe dieses Objektes sehr, da konnte man wirklich entspannen. Die Häuser waren sehr gepflegt und nett eingerichtet und der Pool war toll! Alessandra und Carlo waren tolle Gastgeber, nett und hilfreich.
Für den begeisterten Hobbykoch war die Ausstattung der Küche vielleicht nicht ganz optimal - da haben wir uns selbst etwas besorgt. Am Pool könnten noch ein paar zusätzliche Liegen sein - unter Familie kann man es gut lösen, aber wenn in der anderen Wohneinheit fremde Leute sind, könnte es zu Probleme führen. Und zum Einkaufen muss man schon ein bisschen fahren - der Preis der herrlichen Ruhe. Alles in allem aber : superschön.

E poi, un 30 dicembre, ti ritrovi a pensare alla tua breve, ma bellissima vacanza immersa nel silenzio magnificamente interrotto dai "rumori" della natura: ronzio di insetti, vento che sfiora l’erba e le fronde degli alberi, pioggia battente, cinguettio di uccelli, battiti di ali… Tutto questo si può avere a Villa Cheti, quella che mio figlio di 4 anni chiama “la casa della vacanza”: una dimora bellissima!
I padroni di casa, Alessandra e Carlo, sono persone squisite, molto attente e, allo stesso tempo, discrete, che vivono con passione e sentimento ciò che fanno.
Si varca l’uscio di casa e ci si sente accolti, fin dal primo momento, abbracciati da un’atmosfera familiare. L’appartamento (noi abbiamo soggiornato in quello chiamato “glicine”) è accogliente, caloroso, colorato, dotato di ogni comfort, ed è grandissimo, spazioso, pulitissimo, luminoso. Io e mio marito, con i nostri figli uno di quasi quattro anni e l’altra di nove mesi, abbiamo avuto spazio a volontà. Ci sono i grandi elettrodomestici che servono nella quotidianità ed anche utensili di ogni tipo e piccoli elettrodomestici per chi ha voglia di dare sfogo alla propria creatività in cucina.
Tra le cose buone che Alessandra ci ha fatto trovare nel cestino della colazione, c’era la marmellata di pesche, di produzione propria: squisita!
I frutti della terra di Villa Cheti sono buonissimi, hanno il sapore e l’odore del sole e delle colline del Monferrato: pomodorini rossi e gialli (i gialli non li avevo mai assaggiati: sono qualcosa di unico!), fiori di zucca, zucchine, melanzane, cipolle; sugo di pomodoro di Neri di Crimea, sempre fatto in casa: sublime! Ed un vino eccellente! Vigna curata da Carlo in persona: un risultato straordinario!
Insomma colori, sapori, profumi della vita.
Giorni di pieno relax con i nostri bimbi, con i ritmi della natura…e del cuore.
Grazie a Carlo ed Alessandra! Ci rivedremo presto!
