About this house rental
In the heart of the Langa in southern Piedmont, surrounded by nature, tranquility and sun from morning to evening. About 30 minutes drive from Alba, easy to reach by car. In the midst of several hectares of land, the recently renovated farmhouse is located. Spacious room layout and solid and typical tasteful design let the tourists "arrive ..."! In the modern kitchen, the hobby chef can feel comfortable and bring fresh local produce to the table. The covered terrace is like a second dining room long after sunset ..... Wines from local winemakers are available for purchase, or we can arrange a visit to a family winery in the Langa or Roero. The ideal starting point for excursions to Liguria, the Mediterranean, Genoa, the Western Alps, the majestic Turin, Savigliano, Cuneo, Mondovì ...

What an utterly amazing house. Spacious, well laid out & catered for our family of 10 adults admirably.
The location may not suit everyone as a car is needed to get about, but the vista & serenity were bliss.
The natural salt water pool was great & the games room well used.
The house was well equipped & we were looked after so well by Maria & her team - rubbish removed almost daily, lovely fresh veg left & the one problem with the cooker we had was tended to within the hour.
The only small criticism would be that the fridge/freezer space was limited.
Fantastic holiday in a beautiful area of Italy, with lots of hidden gems. Would highly recommend.

PROS:
- The villa is much bigger and nicer than we expected. With big bedrooms and bathrooms on both floors. The kitchen and living room area is very nice and enough of kitchenware. (but no toaster)
- The villa is isolated - so peaceful and private.
- The outside dining area is wonderful with amazing view of the mountains and other towns and there is a BBQ that we used a a lot.
- The pool area is amazing and you can put a cover over the pool during the night by just pushing a button. In the pool storage.. there is a lot of inflatable stuff and toys for the pool.
- The little towns around like Cravanzana and Farigliano are wonderful to visit. Highly recommended.
CONS:
- The villa is in very high altitude so you can expect a bit colder weather, less sun with thunderstorms in the afternoon. Therefore the pool was a bit too cold. It was also too cold in the villa itself during the night. (Our visit was in June)
- The hills around the house are steep so you have to keep a good eye on the little ones.
- The closest grocery store is in 20 min drive away. So that would be a 1 hour mission at least.
Overall, wonderful place.

Vi var här i en vecka i slutet av juni. En super trevlig vistelse med allt man kan önska sig. Trevligt bemötande av Anselmo som hjälpte till med det som behövdes. Ett mycket fint hus med en fantastisk utsikt och en helt underbar pool. Cravanzana ligger lite högre vilket gör att temperaturen blir lite bättre (svalare) än nere vid tex Barolo mm.
