Chalet Roossi Huus 3 is a charming recently built 2-bedroom vacation apartment with glorious views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding mountains. Set in a quiet location, it’s just a short walk to the center of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps 4 - 8 people:
Bedroom 1 - 1 double king-size bed
Bedroom 2 - 2 bunk beds
Common spaces - 2 double sofa beds
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 - bathtub and WC
Bathroom 2 - shower and WC
Apartment location - just 350m to the train station, 300m to the nearest supermarket and 400m to the nursery ski slopes and cable car, access to mountain hiking and local ski areas is just a short walk away!
This corner apartment has a very homey, comfortable ambience - the perfect choice for a family or a group of friends! It has a very spacious living room which is bright and airy. This leads to the sunny south-facing balcony where you can relax with a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses while you unwind after a day of hiking or skiing and soak in the wonderful mountain and valley views.
The generous living room is the natural gathering place with free WiFi and wide-screen TV making it easy to relax and entertain. This lovely apartment is the perfect choice for a laid-back family or group holiday in a magnificent Alpine setting!

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.

To begin with... Wengen is absolutely wonderful, it looks like a postcard.
Despite being a car-free village, access is easy. The train line is very organized, and it's worth staying there instead of Interlaken or Lauterbrunnen because, in my opinion, it's more authentic. Then the accommodation... equally wonderful! Stunning views from the balcony, spacious, very comfortable beds, everything super cozy.
The kitchen is very well equipped. The accommodation is very close to the train station, a 4-minute walk, and there's also a supermarket and a bakery nearby. Finally, a word of thanks to the staff, who were very helpful and attentive. Especially Sarah. I loved everything! Thank you so much.

Overall amazing experience and surprisingly easy to fit everyone in, but the greatest selling point is its view of the mountains and the valley from its deck. That was spectacular and it alone was enough to go back again.

Platinum level service from Julie’s team. She sent us emails with suggested activities based on current events and even let us know when a local cellular provider was having service issues. The home was great, met my family’s needs and was such a great stay. Thanks for everything
