About this farm stay rental
We offer you our welcome in Tuscany in an ancient farm. We are located in the center of the historic cities of Volterra and San Gimignano and the Tyrrhenian Sea right in front of the island of Elba. The hospitality for two people is in an apartment built in a typical Tuscan stone farm. The ceiling is in beams and rafters in oak that support terracotta bricks. The house is made in Tuscan style with wooden furniture treated with wax. The walls in raw lime, make full the rusticity of the environment in which we wanted to keep the style with floors in hand-worked terracotta bricks. The house has an entrance on the ground floor that overlooks the outside where there is a table with chairs to sit right next to the door. Other tables are set up in the surrounding countryside. The Susino was built at the center of the main building of the source which is the name of the farmhouse that is located not far from a spring that brings water to the farms that surround the village of medieval origin under which we are located. We are located in a privileged position between the countryside and the small town of Radicondoli. Around the farm vines, olive trees, fruit trees and a vegetable garden from which you can have seasonal vegetables that you can cook in the kitchen prepared for your exclusive use at the entrance of the apartment. A bedroom with a double bed with typical Tuscan wooden slats from the late nineteenth century is adjacent to the bathroom with tub and shower, toilet and bidet, which is accessed via the dressing room with the sink. The house is ten minutes from the center of a small medieval town crowned with a series of hills that surround and protect it. The view sweeps over the valley of the river Cecina up to Volterra and climbing into the country on foot for a rural road that in a very pleasant panoramic walk, will give you the ease of being in the countryside but at the same time you can reach Radicondoli. In ten minutes walk you will find restaurants, taverns, pizzerias, bars, baker, a small coop with numerous organic and local products, churches, bank, doctor and post office. Around the farm woods and cultivated fields, rural roads where you can walk exploring one of the Tuscan countryside where you can discover ancient farms interspersed with woods. just over an hour the beautiful sea of the Gulf of Follonica and the wonderful Etruscan necropolis of Baratti. Florence, Siena, Val d'Orcia and Chianti are destinations that can be visited by organizing trips that we can give you advice and provide the cartography. In Radicondoli you will find a good tourist office and the geothermal museum. A small theater organizes shows with the Rabel association and in the summer now for thirty years a festival of theater, dance and music is proposed by another association active in our municipality, Radicondoli Arte. The small community of Radicondoli is also very active in the care sector where the Public Assistance offers for the right assistance in case of need with different volunteers and means. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Großzügige Gartenanlage mit verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Schneller Zugang zum Ort. Gute Ausgangsmöglichkeit zur Erkundung von Siena und San Gimignano.

Ich habe eine schöne Woche in der 1.5 Zi-Whg. Il Susino, La Fonte verbracht. Sehr schöne Umgebung, Location sehr freundlich, ursprüngliche Bauweise. Wenig Gehminuten zum Dorf. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Sehr nette Gastgeberin/Gastgeber!
Gut zu wissen: ein Hund darf nicht ohne BesitzerIn in der Whg. gelassen werden. Als Alleinreisende für mich schwierig, denn bei den sehr hohen Temperaturen konnte ich ihn nicht immer mitnehmen.
Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

Schitterend gelegen boerderij met meerdere verhuur eenheden. De inrichting is sober, maar compleet en heel sfeervol. Prima bed.
De verhuurders wonen ook op de boerderij en spreken goed Engels. Ze zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam en altijd bereid allerlei info te geven. Wat bij de boerderij groeit mag je gebruiken voor bereiden eigen maaltijd.
Omgeving is fantastisch. Niet toeristisch, dus lekker authentiek.
Heerlijk verblijf gehad in een prachtige omgeving met hele vriendelijke mensen.
