About this apartment rental
The only apartment for short holiday rentals with the Mouth of Truth in Miniature here in Rome. Adjacent to the Trevi Fountain, just refurbished with taste, elegance and attention to detail, is an exclusive location! Ideal for one or two families with one or two children, its location allows you to walk to all of Rome's main attractions.
Our holiday house is located in the heart of the historic center of Rome, in a period building with easy entry (only a few steps). Furnished with a minimalist style that combines classic and modern, the four-room apartment of about 95 square meters features two large double bedrooms with TV and air conditioning, one living room and a dining area complete with kitchenette for guests and two bathrooms with shower. Internet wifi Up to 6 people.

We loved this apartment which is close to the Trevi fountain. Good air con, three bedrooms (though one would otherwise be the lounge), large rooms and a washing machine/dryer. It needed more crockery and cutlery and some capsules for the coffee maker would have been nice. Apparently we were the last guests before it changes hands so not sure it will be listed again.

The property worked well for us. Next to Trevi, restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable. I would suggest the following: a coffee maker that uses standard pods (or supply pods to guests), make a small guide book with information on how to work the washer and dryer combo and start the burners on the stove. Also, for showers, the water changed temperature a lot, which wasn't the best experience. There's no light in the hallway leading to the apartment. We used flashlights on our phones. Even with those issues, we'd still stay here again for the value in this location.

We stayed 3 days in July 2023.
Pros: located next to Trevi fountain, plenty of restaurants, sites, shops, etc. Condo was huge and clean, owner provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Kitchen adequately equipped.
Cons: AC only in two main bedrooms, not enough to cool off entire condo, kitchen faucet was broken, washing machine only had hot water, shower doesn’t drain well when using the rain shower head, kitchen chairs creaked a lot, location was central, however food deliveries to restaurants started around 6:30 am so cannot sleep in. Finally hallway light never worked, was pitch black.
Still would recommend due to convenient location to walk and explore.

The property needs some maintenance and upkeep done on it. I feel that we left it cleaner when we left than when we got it. The hot water didn’t stay consistently hot and the coffee maker couldn’t find pods for it at the local co-op grocer. There are really only two full bedrooms with a pull-out sofa that is for use which leaves zero living space for a family to sit together. There was so much noise from other tenants and street noise which made it hard to sleep. Ultimately it worked out as we needed our own room for us and my mother but wish we could’ve been more rested on this trip.
