Arrived and was greeted by Kristin and her daughter, they mad the arrival & visit very comforting, as they were always in communication for our needs.

We were greeted at the front gate by our hostess, Kristin, who made sure we had a perfect three day weekend. The 5J Ranch is a beautiful ranch property with fields of wildflowers, blooming cactus and many different exotic species as well as whitetail deer! We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the owner, Clay who made sure we had anything we needed. So relaxing and a great getaway from the big city and traffic. We were celebrating our anniversary and could not have enjoyed our time more. San Saba is thankfully still a small town with good food, shopping, pretty parks and close to Colorado Bend State Park. The ranch has multiple houses to accomodate the size of your party. Whether you want to get away and relax or book a hunt, we highly recommend the 5J Ranch.

We stayed here for 3 nights in order to do day trips to Colorado Bend State park. It was a great ranch environment and loved seeing all the exotic animals! The fire pit was great for s’mores and beautiful stars at night. The accommodations were very nice, new & clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. We saw alot of exotic animals and were amazed at the beautiful sunsets. We met the owner Clay and he took us on a tour. Such a nice gesture! We can't wait to come back.
