About this lodge
Come stay on our Mason County ranch and enjoy the panoramic view of Oak canyon while relaxing on the front deck of this secluded Texas getaway. Great place for hiking, biking, stargazing, birding or relaxing. An abundance of Texas wildlife and beautiful wildflowers await you. Enjoy the fresh country air,, at night you can gaze at the stars and listen to the sounds of nature.
The Heart of the Heart Guest Lodge is five bedrooms , each with its own private bath,with a large den that has plenty of comfortable lounging room on a large circular sofa. Kitchen and dining area Furnished in country antiques, the cabin has all the amenities of home, including a fully equipped kitchen and wood burning stove and outdoor cooking area. No meals provided for your privacy. You are renting the entire cabin for your privacy. It’s great to wake up early, watch the sun rise, and just feel the tranquility of the beautiful view and peace of this location.
Located in the beautiful hills of Mason County in the Heart of Texas, approximately three miles S. of Fredonia, 15 miles NE of Mason off Hwy 386, 23 miles SE of Brady off Hwy 71, or 55 miles N. of historic Fredericksburg.
5 bedrooms and 5 baths, newly added! 325-347-2900 complete privacy of entire lodge as only booked to one guest request at a time. $225 a night for 2 and $25 for each additional person per night.
High fence Trophy whitetail deer,
low fence day hunts, dove, quail, turkey, hog hunts and fishing available. No hunting, drones, or pets allowed

While working on my property with my dad and brother in laws.. We stayed at this relaxing hunting lodge big enough to house up the 12 people. Gorgeous views. It is a perfect place if you are wanting to escape the hustle and crazy of big city life.. & close enough to Mason to enjoy small town charm

I had reserved this venue for a mini-family reunion/eclipse party. The house was roomy and comfortable, with ample bedrooms and bathrooms, was clean and well-stocked, and decorated in a true Texas country manner. The back porch overlooks a sweeping view and was the perfect perch for us to view the eclipse. We hiked through the fields, filled with gorgeous wildflowers and I was even able to do some birding (lark sparrow--a lifer!). The host was helpful and gracious as well, Highly recommend this venue!
