Completely renovated building, on the 2nd floor, quiet house, disabled access, elevator, very quiet, city center, just minutes from all points of interest, private parking space for small / medium car (charges apply), wi-fi internet, heating system, air conditioning, all services and public transport only a few meters, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and bars just a few meters, a balcony on the courtyard.

You can't go wrong by choosing this apartment. The location is outstanding. The sites in the center of the city can be reached by foot, and the bus system is also very comprehensive. I had a rental car which allowed me to go farther afield, to the grotto, and to the rice mill. But for a small extra cost, Roberto was able to provide parking under the building. You better have a small car though, it is very tight in the garage!
Although I was by myself, the bed was large enough to sleep two easily. And the bed was very comfortable, unlike some other places I have stayed. The apartment had ample amounts of staples, like coffee, sugar, olive oil, and laundry detergent. The clothes dried easily within 12 hours when I hung them up.
Roberto was prompt at check-in, and he gave complete and comprehensive instructions. I was happy with the entire experience.

A very nice, clean, quiet and secure apartment in the center of Trieste. The owner Roberto lives nearby and is very helpful. A garage space is available for a reasonable surcharge (very necessary in this neighborhood!). Its a fifteen minute walk either to the Castle, Cathedral and Winkleman museum or to the central piazza and port. A great Coop supermarket is just a five-minute walk away (as is the central communal market). The apartment is reasonably well appointed; the wifi is good; there is plenty of hot water; the bed is comforatble.
