About this chalet rental
A detached 4 bedroomed chalet on 3 levels with large bathroom and additional separate WC. Well appointed, comfortable open plan living and dining area with woodburning stove. Located within easy access of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area in a small hamlet adjacent to the village of Le Biot, with its bar/restaurant/pizzeria, bakery and fromagerie - plus new addition 2019 a deli/caterer Traiteur. Superb location for winter or summer holidays.
Note the property is monitored via an exterior webcam. This is disarmed remotely when guests arrive, unless they would rather we left it active.
5 minutes drive to St Jean D'Aulpes with large Carrefour supermarket and restaurants.
15 minutes drive to Morzine.
15 minutes to the Grande Terche.
20 minutes to Ardent. 20+ minutes to Les Gets, 30 minutes to Thonon, Evian and Lake Geneva.
Around 1 hour from Geneva Airport.
Excellent area for both summer and winter activities, including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, swimming, climbing and of course eating!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet d'Alpage. The owners, David and Justine are very nice and helpfull people. The chalet was clean, well equipped, warm and cosy and the log burner is a nice touch. The hot water was super hot and plentiful, and the bathroom had both an excellent shower and a comfortable bath. Nice location and easy acces to all areas of interest (we had a car though). We can't thank enough to David and Justine for all their help and guidance, and we will definitely go back for a summer expirience. Thank you guys.

Great location, lovely house and practical for us as a base. 8 fitted in fine. A few days of better weather would have topped it all off! Lovely week had by all.

Everything in the chalet was perfect and it's very close to a lot of very nice hikes or climbs with your road/mountains bike.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet d'Alpage. The hosts David and Justine were a pleasure to deal with. The chalet was clean, well equipped, warm and cosy (especially with the log burner going!) and everything you could need is provided. We also enjoyed several films from their extensive DVD collection!
Our daughter especially enjoyed the basement Bunk-Room bedroom. With the radiator on it was warm and cosy, and beautifully quiet.
The hot water was super hot and plentiful, and the bathroom had both an excellent shower and a comfortable bath - great for those tired ski-legs!
It's about a 20 minute drive to the lift station at Ardent (to access Avoriaz), or about 35 minutes to the lift station at Nyon (to access Morzine/Les Gets) - both have free parking.
Due to the low levels of light pollution here, the view of the stars in the night sky was absolutey amazing. Don't forget to step outside and have a look!
