Es gab ein sehr herzlichen Empfang und durchweg freundliches Personal. Das Essen der Taverne war mit das beste, was wir auf Kreta bisher gegessen haben. Alles wird mit Liebe gekocht, ist sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Von der Taverne aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer.

La struttura è molto accogliente, gestita da una meravigliosa famiglia che ci ha accolti con un calore ed una gentilezza fuori dal comune. Mariana e Isidora ci hanno coccolati dal primo fino all’ultimo minuto del nostro soggiorno, abbiamo avuto il piacere di mangiare diverse volte al ristorante della struttura ed è stata un’esperienza unica e irripetibile, cibo fresco di altissima qualità. Dopo la cena ci dilettavamo nela giocare a carte con la dolce isidora che ci ha insegnato giochi inediti per noi e divertentissimi Abbiamo avuto il piacere di trascorrere un po di tempo con questa splendida famiglia che ci ha fatto immergere completamente e autenticamente nella cultura greca. Un’esperienza da consigliare e da ripetere

The family who run Ambeles are really friendly, the food in the Taverna is superb. A lot of the food is grown in their own garden.
