Sehr ruhige Lage in einem Ortsteil am Stadtrand von Jena, mit Auto gut zu erreichen, Straßenbahn in laufbarer Entfernung. Voll ausgestattete Küche, so dass Selbstversorgung kein Problem ist. Die bekannten Orchideengebiete sind nahe, z.T. in Wanderentfernung.
