This is a nice little apartment. It has its own private parking, which is great if arriving by car. Access is easy, and location is very good, around 10 minutes by foot from Jena centre. A few fast food places, restaurants and supermarkets are in the close neighborhood.
Apartment is clean, quite nicely furnished, and everything was functional. I absolutely loved the large working desk, perfect for my afternoon work. Wifi performace was spotless. The living room is bright, spacious and comfortable.
Host is very quick to respond to requests and solves any problems that may occur.
The place was quite perfect for me as a single occupant, but I can hardly imagine it being shared by more people. The kitchen is very small, and the refrigerator doors are opening the wrong way (needs some acrobatics to access). There is no dining table apart from a small foldable desk fixed to a kitchen wall, which is uncomfortable and can only be used by one person. Bathroom is a little uncomfortable - the washing basin is fixed very low, and the mirror in fixed on the opposite wall of the washing basin. A large double bed is situated on a podest to which you must climb by steep steps, and there is very little clearence between the bed and the ceiling, looks quite claustrophobic so that I didn't even try to use it (slept on a couch which was surprisingly good).
Don't get me wrong - I loved staying there, I didn't really mind the limitations, but it may not work for you.
