Hotel Tenuta di Artimino member of Meliá Collection

The property and location were lovely. The room was big, comfortable, the bed was perfect, good bathroom and shower, and very peaceful. The pool was lovely and still open in October thanks to the lovely weather. We didn't eat at the property but we had drinks from the bar which were good and not too expensive. The staff were friendly and welcoming too.

You really need to have a car to get here. We travelled via train to Signa and planned to get a taxi from the station to the hotel. Looking at google maps it was a 20 minute journey, so whilst the hotel offered a pick up service for 60 euros, that felt very expensive for such a short trip. We called a taxi from the station and it showed up within 15 mins, and the cost on the meter was 40 euros, which again, felt very expensive for a taxi in the Tuscan countryside. Upon departure, we asked the hotel to call us a local taxi, assuming the cost would be the same, yet we were told by the drive that it's a flat fee (off the meter) of 65 euros. So basically after paying 300 euros for the room, we paid a third again to get too and from the hotel. So in summary......I would only recommend going here if you are driving, unless you are happy to pay such extreme taxi prices.

The staff were great and the facilities very good - food wine excellent - well located not far from key tourist attractions - splendid location with awesome views

Beautiful property, located on the rolling hills of Tuscany. Good surroundings and tranquil atmosphere.

The rooms had less light and had too many issues - Air Conditioning not working, windows not closing properly, soap bottles in shower empty, a night lamp not working, non functional safe in the room. Expected better quality of customer experience in the room.
