Vassos Nissi Plage Hotel & Spa

the view from the beach facing rooms of nissi beach cannot be beaten.

stayed here 3 times now, minor points but some work is needed in the bathrooms now, the extractor fans never work in the bathroom leading to condensation. the shower trays need to be overhauled as water is not contained whilst showering, they need enclosed glass shower cubicles. also need more towel hangers in bathroom behind the door as space is not being used. The gym is also very poor for a hotel of this class, put it on the roof with a view of the sea. Also Adams beach hotel next door (a 5 star hotel) has a revamped rooftop bar (the glasshouse), Vassos need to do the same now to retain its guests in the evenings. otherwise another fantastic stay.....

The hotel has a great view and an amazing location right by Nissi Beach — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea. The food was good and the overall experience was pleasant.

We did have a bit of an rude and unprofessional encounter with the staff at the Famous Bar, but aside from that, everything else was really good.

Everything, the location is perfect, the meals very delicious and variated, the staff very smiling and helpful.

The hotel’s location is truly fantastic, right by Nissi Beach, with beautiful sea views that make the setting unforgettable. Some staff members really stood out for their kindness and professionalism — special thanks to Krishna, Shoudip, Sudan, Panagioty, and Paraskevi for their efforts in making guests feel welcome. A very special mention goes to Jivka from housekeeping, who cleaned and refreshed our room to perfection every single day. Her dedication, attention to detail, and warm attitude reflected the true spirit of 4-star hospitality. These individuals were the bright side of our stay and deserve recognition.

Restaurant & Hotel Experience – Vassos Nissi Plage The hotel’s location is truly wonderful, but the restaurant and service experience do not meet 4-star standards. Every meal was disturbed by constant noise from staff bumping silverware on trolleys and clearing tables without any regard for guest comfort. One staff member, Oksana, was repeatedly loud when clearing plates and showed little attention to detail or guest awareness. She, along with others, would benefit from training in guest experience and professionalism. The noise was so excessive that at times we couldn’t even hold a conversation at the table. This clearly comes from the lack of a manager on the floor to supervise, guide, and train the team on a daily basis. Another waiter, Naby, who stood at the door each day, greeted us casually with “Hi Boss” and showed no interest in guest service. On one occasion, when he saw we had brought our own water, he did not even bother to provide glasses. I had to get up and take them myself from a station marked “Breakfast only.” We paid for full board, only to find that no drinks were included. There was no water dispenser anywhere in the restaurant. Unless you paid €2.50 for bottled water, you simply could not get drinking water. This policy is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. It even makes you wonder: if a guest were choking, would they be given a glass of water, or told to order a bottle first? Service in general felt inattentive, with staff more focused on collecting signatures for drink checks than ensuring guest satisfaction. The food itself was also disappointing. Lunch options were weak, often bland, and not worth paying for. The entertainment was poor, almost a joke compared to previous years. The Wi-Fi was unreliable — oddly, the connection was stronger at the beach and by the pool than in the room, where it was constantly missing. After three years in a row coming to Cyprus, this was unfortunately the first stay that felt boring and unenjoyable.
