About this apartment rental
The property is in a complex of 20 apartments set in a recently restored 17th century villa finished in 2008. There is a large pool and communal gardens, the apartment is on the first floor with a small balcony containing a dining table and chairs overlooking the surrounding countryside. There is an open plan living/dining area with double height ceilings and exposed beams with french doors leading onto the balcony. The apartment is ideally situated 50 minutes drive south of Pisa Airport, 60 minutes South West of Florence, 10 minutes from Volterra and 30 minutes from the beaches of Cecina.

We spent 2 weeks here and it was the best family holiday we have had. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. It was great to be able to barbecue and sit on the balcony during the evenings. The other residents were friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and it is easy to get to all the main attractions of Tuscany and beyond. We had lovely lazy days by the pool or on the beach as well as great days in the many beautiful towns and villages (easy to get to Pisa, Florence and Siena). Roland was very helpful during the booking process and offered loads of advice on where to visit and on the many local restaurants...and even on where to buy the best priced local wine. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return.
