A lovely property located on the Outhre River. It was a perfect place from which to visit the Ardennes area which has a wonderful mixture of history and nature. The Gite was so peaceful, well appointed with everything we needed, and our host was kind, hospitable, and very helpful. We hope to make a return visit!

We had a lovely stay. We were welcomed and proactively accomodated in our needs. Check in and checkout were easy and flexible. Texts were responsed to quickly. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderfull stay in Esneux. The cottage has everything you need for a week of rest and relaxation. The kitchen is very complete, with a combi microwave oven and a regular oven, a dishwasher and enough equipment to cook your own meal.
The living room is very spacious and offers lots of possibilities to rest after one of the many nice walks in the local village of Esneux or elsewehere in the Ardennes. There is plenty of space to sit outside of the cottage and the river Ourthe is only a few steps away.
The cottage has a large bedroom upstairs with a comfortable two-person bed, lots of storage space and racks for your bags. The bathroom is also situated in the bedroom and consists of a sink and a shower pod with lots of options, but due to issues only the showering function is working. This is no problem ofcourse.
The only remark one could have is that the shower might be a bit low if you are above the average height, but we managed although one of us was quite tall.
The village offers lots of restaurants, a train station, bus stops, a supermarket, bakery's etc. In the nearyby villages you can find larger supermarkets and shops.
The host is very kind and will make sure you have a great stay in Esneux. If French is not your native language, no worries... you can communicate in English without issues. We had a great time in Esneux and would recommend this location to anyone visiting the Ardennes!
