About this cottage rental
Romantics will be very happy: your own entrance to a private and pretty stable conversion with roses around the door and the sun streaming in from the courtyard garden. Downstairs is a small, open-plan living/dining room with a fully equipped corner kitchen, a scrubbed pine table with flowers in a jug, quirky beams, comfy sofas, neutral colours and a wood-burner for chillier evenings. Upstairs find a cosy bedroom with a large iron bed, seagrass rugs, white lace sheets and pastoral views from the window – and double doors to a marble wash basin and amazing roll-top copper bath from which you can watch the forest. (Worth coming for the bathroom alone, with its delicious white bathrobes and luxuriously deep bath.) Tina and her husband live in the 15th-century mill (the grounds are yours for wandering) and can give you breakfast and dinner – a treat for foodies; they also leave you wine, homemade jams, bread and cheese. Tucked away yet only three kilometres from Noyant, there are bicycles to borrow, an antiques market in Saumur, walks from the door and a wealth of châteaux to visit. Fantastique!

we had a great holiday tina and steeve treated us like the king and queen of england the slightest question was resolved in the incredible hour despite the language barrier we were still satisfied a big thank you for these three magnificent weeks at soon maybe

The Gite is delightful in every way. Tina and Steven are wonderful hosts and go that extra distance in providing a wonderful stay. The facilities are the best we have found in years of staying in various parts of France.
The peace and quiet of the accommodation is remarkable and we often slept in on mornings. That may be the really comfortable bed as well though.
Lots of interesting places to visit and enjoy. The Chateau at Cande is lovely and very interesting.
Thank you to Tina and Steve for a brilliant week.

A 30 km de Saumur et de Langeais, au bord de la forêt, ce gite permet soit des visites en ville, soit de longues ballades dans la nature.
Meublé avec gout, le gite est très fonctionnel et un petit plus pour les produits de toilette très agréables qui sont fournis.
Tina et Stephen sont très sympathiques et Hector (un bouvier de montagne adorable) très gentil.
A refaire donc....

30 km from Saumur and Langeais, at the edge of the forest, this gite allows either visits in town or long walks in the nature.
Furnished with taste, the gite is very functional and a little more for the very pleasant toiletries that are provided.
Tina and Stephen are very friendly and Hector (a lovely mountain dog) very nice.
