About this villa rental
Perched up in the hills and just 5 minutes’ walk from medieval Tourrettes sur Loup, this south-facing villa is perfect for families. Eight people can be comfortably accommodated (4 double bedrooms plus additional curtained sleeping area, 3 bathrooms including 1 ensuite), and the elevated position give panoramic views from the pool and roof terrace, up the hills and down to Antibes and the coast.
This traditionally styled house is welcoming and homely – relaxing, spacious and private. The rooms are a typically old Provençal style with period stone flooring, medieval wooden doors & beams and have spectacular views over the Cote D’Azur. The house is built on two floors – each of which has a comfortable living room (one with an impressive stone fireplace) and a well-equipped kitchen, making it perfect for sharing.
Outside, the beautiful garden has a wealth of mature trees and Mediterranean shrubs, plus a boules court and private pool. Wisteria-covered terraces provide shade for long, lazy lunches and dinners, and of course soaking up those amazing views. Private and peaceful, this is a great spot from which to enjoy both the calm of Tourrettes and surrounding Vence, Grasse and Cote D’Azur beaches.

We had a wonderful 6 days in Tourrettes sur Loup. The house was prefect for us with lots of amenities. We particularly enjoyed the games cupboard and boules court.The information pack we received for check-in both for the house and the village were excellent resources and had everything we needed to know. Including taxi numbers. Olivier was very helpful in booking a taxi for us he was very polite and helpful.The house was immaculately clean, with lots of spaces to sit and relax. The views were stunning, just like the pictures and more.So nice to walk to the boulangerie each morning to get breakfast. There are also a number of other shops to get fresh meat, cheese as well as a small convivence store within a 5 minute walk.Sophie was very responsive when we sent messages for pool towels and blankets as it was a bit chilly when we first arrived.We travelled at the end of May and found that not all restaurants opened each evening contrary to what google says, so have a scout about and plan if you go out for meals.Make sure to taste the Violette ice cream from Toms as well as a walk to the via duct from the view point.Overall we had a lovely, restful holiday and would stay here again.

This charming house is in a great location for the village, which we know and love, enabling us to pop down for shopping and evening meals without having to use the car. The views from the house are superb and the pool and gardens are wonderful.
One gripe would be that the beds and pillows need to be renewed.
Antoine and Sophie were both extremely helpful, responding to any queries immediately.

This is a beautiful villa just a stone's throw from the village. Every morning we would saunter down to the boulangerie for croissants and almond tarts as the perfect start to the day. The villa has wonderful old-world charm, with original wooden doors and stone walls, mixed with a beautiful modern private pool. This was our second stay in this particular villa having discovered it in 2009, and imagine our delight when we found it available again this year through Pure Azur. It's close to the amenities of the village, but also a quick bus ride to Vence takes you to the bigger shops (should the need arise!) The Pure Azur team were wonderful - sorting out a pre-stocked fridge, booking taxis to the airport, and dealing with any questions we gave them. Totally lovely and I am already planning my visit next year.

We were greeted with a musty odour as we entered and remained for the duration. Although there is a rustic charm some of the furnishings could do with updating in the main living room upstairs.
We had to move to a different bedroom after the first night as the bed had a sagging hole. The other beds were firm but comfortable but all the pillows could be better.
Kitchen appliances and utensils left a lot to be desired and showering in one of the bathrooms proved a bit of a challenge which we did work out.
The pool was somewhat cloudy unlike the picture but the local agent was very responsive to our request to have it seen to.
This would be much better value if the furniture, upstairs kitchen and bathrooms were upgraded.
The location was very convenient but the property could do with some additional maintenance.
Overall it was a bit pricey for what was on offer.
