If you want to visit another country during your vacations and immerse yourself in another historical era, immerse yourself in the luxurious atmosphere of the Venetian villas, founded by the Republic of Venice between the 15th and 19th centuries. This part of a semi-detached house overlooking Villa Barbarigo of Valsanzibio, famous for its spectacular gardens enriched with water features, is definitely your destination. The vacation property, surrounded by the greenery of the Euganean Hills Park, is located 1 km from a thermal spa, 500 m from the golf course of Galzignano Terme and is the ideal starting point to reach the main art cities of Veneto: Venice 70 km, also reachable by train from the nearby Montegrotto Terme station; Padua 35 km, Vicenza 40 km and Verona 80 km. Lake Garda, with its amusement parks and the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic coast, is about 100 km away. The accommodation is on two levels, the sleeping area is on the upper floor; A large private and fenced garden allows you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the place while enjoying your meals on the veranda. In the surrounding area you can practice various sports: cycling, golf, diving in the thermal pools, cycling, mountain biking, north walking, hiking in the hills, climbing on the Rocca Pendice and paragliding from Mount Madonna. Within 1 km you will find pools with thermal water. Thanks to its strategic position in the center of Veneto, it is easy to reach the main art cities as well as a number of beautiful towns and charming medieval villages such as Arquà Petrarca, Monselice, Montagnana, Este and part of the 5000 Venetian villas and abbeys that characterize the area. Also a trip to the mountains can make your vacation a beautiful experience: In an hour's drive you can enjoy the good air of the Asiago plateau or take one of the most interesting excursions in the area, driving along the Pasubio road with 52 galleries, or going up to Monte Grappa, 1800 meters high, from where on particularly clear days you can also see Venice and the Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage Site. To complete this wonderful historical, artistic and naturalistic context, there is a gastronomic offer that will satisfy every taste. La maison est très belle et convient particulièrement pour des vacances en famille. Le mobilier est ancien et très joli. L'endroit est très calme, en retrait de l'agitation des grandes villes.
Toutefois, l'hiver, elle est assez froide car les portes ferment mal et il n'y a pas de double vitrage. La maison (le divan, le lit) sentait un peu l'humidité et le moisi, mais ça s'est un peu arrangé après avoir chauffé quelques jours. Quelques oreillers supplémentaires apporteraient un peu plus de confort, d'autant que ceux qui s'y trouvent sont très minces et très durs.
Il est utile de savoir que l'on est à la campagne et quelques insectes, que certains jugeront indésirables, peuvent s'introduire dans la maison. (nous avons eu la visite d'un petit scorpion et de quelques inoffensives punaises (asiatiques à mon avis)
Les volets ne peuvent pas être attachés et battent avec le vent, sauf si on les ferme, mais le jour???
Nous sommes néanmoins très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Though many of the Veneto’s cities and towns are within easy reach, the hamlet of which this house is a part is totally quiet. From the upstairs rooms there is a fine view of the Euganean Hills and the delightful garden of Villa Barbarigo, open to visitors daily.
The house itself is deceptively spacious. It is comfortably and tastefully furnished in a style that gives guests a feel for this particular region.
Checking in and out was easy, and Ivana was kind enough to dart out in the rain late at night to find us dinner.
I would recommend this house to anyone with a car and a good sense of what the surrounding area has to offer.

La proprietà si trova in zona tranquilla, proprio accanto al meraviglioso giardino di Valsanzibio. E' comoda ai servizi e in zona strategica per le escursioni sui colli Euganei e le visite alle vicine città di Padova, Vicenza e Venezia. La casa è confortevole. Unico neo , la mancata la copertura TIM e FASTEB.
