Tiniest of criticisms in that we weren’t told where the extra bedding was to make up the sofa bed - was told it would be obvious, but actually it was in the double ottoman bed, where we didn’t think to look! (Didn’t realise it actually was an ottoman bed) A note left in the flat would be helpful. Otherwise,all good .

Matt was a superb host, he rang the day before our arrival to confirm he was about to text the property details including keysafe code. He explained that he wasn't going to be local to the property so gave the number of his property manager for emergencies.
The apartment was well equipped, the electric heaters kept it warm and there was plentiful hot water. The shower had a better flow rate than our one at home!
This property is up two flights of old stairs so wouldn't be suitable for everyone. A couple of minor housekeeping issues were advised to Matt. These seem to have been caused by a previous guest and Matt thanked us for advising of them.

It was near to the river area. Good for boat trips and the ferry across to the steam train. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely crisp white bedding.
Smelt very musty in the entrance hall but luckily it got better the higher we got. The 30 stairs were a bit narrow for us oldies. The shower would alternate between freezing cold and boiling hot. Nothing in between. The tv signal was bad with it pixelating for the majority of the time. The sofa was uncomfortable. Didn’t look like it had had a thorough hoovering. Definitely not as described online.
