About this apartment rental
Sunny apartment with a panoramic view of Florence and Tuscany hills.
Comfortable for families and small groups (up to 6 people) with sunny balcony, A/C, PC, printer, Wifi, Sat/TV, dish machine, washing machine, iron, iron board and a nice and large kitchen full of tools. A lot of free car parking around, no parking problems.
Great for tourism in the historical Florence center, 15 min with a new fast and reliable tramvia T1 (every 3 min, stop at 100m from the apartment, ticket 1 Euro with family discount).
Apartment for vacationing families or professionals suitable to visit the historic center of Florence.
In building, V floor, in excellent condition.
3 rooms, 75 square meters, 1 kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed and single bed 1 large living room with sofa bed and extra bed possible. for a total of 3/6 beds.
A bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
Two terraces: the kitchen side (veranda) overlooking the garden and hills, side sitting room (about 10 sqm) with a beautiful wide view of the Florentine hills and Duomo.
Hot / cold heating, central heating condominium. Hot water with electric boiler.
Oven, microwave, iron, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer.
TV with digital terrestrial and satellite channels (free).

How to reach the apartment
By motorway: exit Scandicci the A1, direction Scandicci center, the City of Scandicci (the apartment is located opposite the Town Hall, where there are plenty of free parking).
In expressway, near the exit of the motorway FI-PI-LI, the same route of the highway.
By train: From Central Station of Florence (SMN) take the tram (opposite the entrance to the station) and get off at resistance.
During the second week of October there is a local event, a fair (Fiera di Scandicci). The town is close to the traffic and in that period it is not easy to find a parking.

Overall we had a really nice stay. The host was very responsive and available anytime. The location was perfect. Parking was never an issue. There is a nice bakery with Cafe and pastries right next to the building. Lots of restaurants in the area within walking distance. The metro station was 2 minutes away and runs every 4 to 5 minutes. We were in central Florence in 15 minutes or less. This location was ideal.

Very well equipped apartment, enjoyed using the terrace early morning and at night when it was cooler outside. Easy tram ride in and out of Florence and close to the station so very convenient. Florence is great but hot and crowded so it was nice to retreat home to the apartment

Für meinen dreiwöchigen "Bildungsurlaub" in der Renaissance war Scandicci der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Innerhalb von 15 Minuten mit einer modernen Straßenbahn, die im 3 - 4 Minuten-Takt fährt ( was eine Benutzerin des ÖPNV im Rhein-Main-Gebiet neidisch macht) , erreichte ich das Zentrum von Florenz.
Die Wohnung liegt im 5. Stock eines Hauses aus den 70er Jahren (Aufzug funktionierte einwandfrei), ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Modernes Bad mit Dusche und Bidet, Schlafzimmer mit Parkettboden und ausgezeichnetenn Matratzen, Küche und Wohnbereich enthalten alle wichtigen Dinge, kleiner Wermutstropfen: Es gibt kein deutschsprachiges Fernsehen, aber der PC des Vermieters erlaubt die Nachrichten auch im Internet zu verfolgen.
Ich war ab Anfang März in Florenz und sehr dankbar für die gut funktionierende Heizung, für den Sommer gibt es auch eine Klimaanlage.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: in ca. 800m Entfernung kleiner Lebensmittelmarkt, samstags Markt in Scandicci, großer Supermarkt nur zwei Straßenbahnstationen entfernt, auch sonntags geöffent bis Mittag.
Das beste aber: der Vermieter, Herr Alessandro. Er steht sofort bereit, falls kleinere Schwierigkeiten auftreten.
