Tucked into the southern slope of Mount Simmersberg, this detached holiday home in Schnett offers a welcoming escape at 720 meters above sea level. Inside, a wood-burning stove warms the living space, while the wellness bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub invites you to unwind after active days. The modern kitchen makes meal preparation easy, and the veranda provides a cozy spot to relax with music or a good book. Outdoors, a private garden with a terrace, grill, and comfortable seating creates the perfect setting for evening barbecues.

The Thuringian Forest is a playground in every season. Winter brings guaranteed snow, with ski lifts in nearby Masserberg, Heubach, and Fehrenbach offering short queues and varied slopes. Cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking paths, and even a 400-meter sledding track ensure plenty of options for all ages. Summer transforms the landscape into a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with panoramic views from the Rennsteig trail just minutes away.
Local Tastes & Culture

Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet und in guter Lage. Ausflugsziele sind von dort gut zu erreichen.

Na aankomst de verhuurder gebeld, deze was er binnen 10minuten. Accommodatie was goed, netjes, modern volledig ingericht. Een klein min puntje is het zit comfort van de bank, deze is ronduit slecht. Omgeving is mooi, erg geschikt voor wandelaars.

Ruhige Lage, gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden was man braucht, Herd, Ofen, Mikrowelle....! Ideal für vier Personen. An kalten Abenden bereitet der Kamin viel Freude. Gute zentrale Lage für Ausflüge. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe. Den letzten Teil der Anfahrt von Masserberg zum OT Schnett lernt man im Laufe der Zeit lieben. Eng, kurvig, Steigung und Gefälle! Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen.
