About this house rental
The holiday home Casa Bellavista Cilento is for max. 10 people and has a unique, quiet panoramic location with sea views amidst olive, fig and orange trees on a huge property south of Castellabate, just a few minutes walk from the village of Montecorice. It has several terraces and is divided into two beautiful, comfortable living units, on the ground floor for 6 people and on the upper floor for 4 people, ideal for two families who want to go on vacation together. The house is surrounded by a beautiful, enclosed garden. In a sunny spot between 2 old olive trees there is a round pool with a diameter of 5 m and a depth of 1.2 m.
The sea with a pebble beach and a fishing port is only 2 km away, a beautiful sandy beach 7 km and 17 km to Santa Maria di Castellabate. In Montecorice there are shops and 3 restaurants, other restaurants and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. It is an ideal starting point to discover the unique Cilento National Park with its varied natural landscape and pretty fishing villages along the more than 100 km long coast or for trips to Agropoli, Paestum, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast as well as Naples.
A specialty of the Cilento is the tasty, traditional cuisine with a variety of delicious dishes based on traditional recipes. A small B&B in the neighborhood also offers Casa Bellavista guests a rich breakfast or Cilentan cuisine with products mainly from their own production.

The Casa Edoardo is an ideal family home for those who like to be a little bit off the beaten path yet close to restaurants and the beach. The house stays relatively cool in the summer heat. The view is stunning. There is little not to like!

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage im Casa Bellavista verbracht und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Haus hat eine tolle, absolut ruhige Lage mit großen Terrassen und herrlicher Aussicht auf den Ort Montecorice und das Meer. Es ist von einer großartigen Naturlandschaft umgeben, die jetzt im Juni in voller Blüte stand. Wir haben tolle Wanderungen entlang der Küste gemacht, die schönen Fischerorte wie Asciaroli besucht oder einfach nur am Sandstrand gelegen.
Beide Wohnungen sind hübsch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, besonders gefallen hat uns dabei die umfangreiche Küchenausstattung, ist in Italien nicht unbedingt üblich. Die netten Nachbarn die sich um das Haus kümmern haben einen kleinen B&B, bei Ihnen kann man auf Bestellung die cilentanische Küche kennen lernen, gut und preiswert, die Zutaten überwiegend aus eigener Herstellung. Das hat uns alles sehr gefallen, auch das gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Die schlechte Strasse zum Haus ist für Stadtmenschen wie uns etwas ungewohnt, aber dann ist man da: ein wirklich schön restauriertes altes Bauernhaus mitten in mediterraner wilder Natur. Man kann sogar das Meer von Weitem sehen ! Angenehm überrascht waren wir von der wirklich hervorragend technischen Ausstattung des Hauses: einfach alles was man braucht war da: eine supertoll funktionierende Heizung in allen Räumen !!! ( es war nachts im April sehr kalt ), eine gute heisse Dusche und eine Geschirrspülmaschine. Die netten Nachbarn führen eine kleines Bed & Breakfast und kochen auf Anfrage für einen. Wir haben in der einen Woche dort zweimal sehr lecker gegessen ! Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und fanden auch die Umgebung sehr attraktiv. Der Besitzer des Hauses ist sehr freundlich, nett und unkompliziert. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus !

Abbiamo soggiornato in 9 amici nel periodo di ferragosto, distribuiti sui due appartamenti.
Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole.
La casa è piuttosto ben attrezzata con pentole, posate, sedie, tavoli, lo spazio esterno è davvero piacevole, e la zona è tranquillissima, e immersa nella natura.
I divani letto sono molto comodi, e anche i letti. La piscina è fantastica, in mezzo al verde, dotata di depuratore, e di doccia esterna.
La casa è dotata di asciugacapelli, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, televisore, aspirapolvere, e altri elettrodomestici.
Il proprietario del b&b accanto, che si occupa dei rapporti con gli ospiti di questa casa, è molto gentile e disponibile.
Debbo però sottolineare, per i prossimi ospiti, che vi sono alcune difficoltà, a partire dalla strada di accesso, che è un pò ostica. E' definita strada bianca, perciò non è asfaltata, è lunga quasi un km. In alcuni punti è più che accettabile, in altri è abbastanza difficoltosa se si ha una automobile bassa, o con difficoltà a fare le salite. Perciò occhio all'automobile con cui vi recate sul posto. E c'è da sperare che non piova, altrimenti si rimane bloccati in casa, in quanto la salita per uscire sulla strada è sterrata e ripida.
Suggerirei al padrone di casa di provvedere meglio a questo comfort.
Uno dei due bagni è sprovvisto di finestra (in estate può essere scomodo);
I bagni inoltre sono sprovvisti di bidet.
Le finestre sono sprovviste di persiane o scuri, può essere scomodo per chi non riesce a dormire con la luce.
Attenzione all'acqua, perchè l'estate può mancare, e il serbatoio di emergenza è piccino per tante persone, perciò va razionata.
Attenzione anche a usare la corrente, perchè i piani cottura sono elettrici, e la casa ha soli 3 kw.
Non abbiamo trovato la casa (le zone cottura soprattutto) molto pulita, abbiamo perciò provveduto a lavare piatti posate e zona cottura prima di utilizzarli.
Asciugamani e lenzuola invece erano freschi di bucato.
Peccato non aver potuto usare il barbecue, sarebbe stato bello poterlo sistemare in una zona al riparo dal vento ed usarlo in sicurezza, data la stagione estiva a rischio.
A parte tutto questo mi sento di consigliare la sistemazione solo a chi sa adattarsi e non si fa prendere dalle ansie.
Esorterei comunque il padrone di casa ad effettuare alcune migliorie (strada in primis, oscuramento finestre, ecc...) per ottenere un posto veramente piacevole.
