Location is great in wonderful San Quirico d'Orcia. All the convenience of being in the center of the village but tucked inside a quiet courtyard. The apartment itself is spacious, lovely and comfortable. Nice furnishings, comfortable bed and WiFi works well. Good kitchen set up with table and chairs, an island and coffee/tea.
The host(s) were completely unresponsive to my messages and calls, and not present during my stay. I messaged before arriving (with estimated time) requesting directions on getting the key and some help with parking. I also tried calling several times. I received no response before arriving -- nor did I ever hear anything back while I was there for three nights. I got help from a barber across the street (I had the address but there were several apartments so I didn't know where to go) to get the keys. He made a call and was able to find out who owned the property and he went with me to ring the bell. Luckily someone was there (a niece) who had no information, but she was able to call someone to find out the location of the key. I asked for any other information, but she didn't have any. I finally found a folder with details on the WiFi password and some local resources. With no guidance on the parking, I had a 30 Euro fine the next day, but with the help of a neighbor I figured it out for the rest of the stay. Being completely ignored by the host(s) was strange at best; it really affected the quality of the whole experience and made the arrival very stressful. I'd also suggest a few practical extra touches to this very nice property--like a mirror in the bedroom and a nightlight illuminating the steps from the bedroom. The apartment was very clean, but there was a somewhat sour smell in the bathroom. Opening the window helped somewhat; if I'd had any contact with the host, I would have suggested they might want to check it out.

Прекрасный вариант для короткой остановки в центре Тосканы. Очень уютно. Со всеми удобствами, великолепная кухня, со всем инвентарем. Удобные кровати и подушки. Отличный душ, никаких проблем с водой. Моё почтение хозяевам! Улли, спасибо большое за гостеприимство и сервис.
Полотенца в ванной тяжело просушить, отсыревают. Но это точно не проблема квартиры или хозяев, скорее климата.

Located in the heart of the village, while preserved from street animation.
Owner’s welcome and guidance along the stay could be improved. We had a first contact which was formal and essential. No other contact during our stay. We were not expecting to be entertained every day, however would have appreciated simple chat sometime as well as a conclusive meeting in person instead of receiving a WhatsApp.
Secondly, would have appreciated being informed of an all night long party happening just under our windows instead of having to experience it.
