About this apartment rental
'Lowenek' is a lovely apartment with parking, which has been completely refurnished in 2016 to a high standard. The apartment has an open plan living space and 3 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. The kitchen in well equipped including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
Just a short walk from the beach, you can look out of the window and check out the surf before heading off to the Blue Flag beach which is served by RNLI lifeguards during busy periods. For those who want to learn to surf during their visit there is a Surf School in the village.
Porthtowan has a range of amenities such as two pubs, a café, fish & chips, grocery store, children's park and easy access to costal walks.
If you looking to go further afield, Porthtowan is the perfect spot to explore the rest of Cornwall.

What a wonderful apartment. Perfect stay, key collection to the hosts contact flawless. The little village is a breath of fresh air. Can’t think of any faults, would happily stay here again. Everything you could need for the beach was on site right down to paddle boards! Made for a very laid back week away. Oh the sunsets are something else! A very slight hillDown to the beach easy parking at the apartment and some fantastic cliff walks.

We had a brilliant time here. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The beach was a few minutes walk away and perfect for young children. Emma was so helpful and kindly posted me my kindle which I had left underneath a pillow.

Good... accommodation met everyone's needs and requirements. The living area and rooms are all of a good standard. The location and ease of access is good with the village having all you need 2 pubs/bars coffee/cafe ice cream and tourist beach wares shop....there is a Tesco about 15 minutes away for bigger shops. The Beach is magnificent at low tide huge stretches of sand and surf. The blue bar is worth a visit to watch the sun go down with a chilled beverage..full of locals and visitors all chilling in a relaxed atmosphere....oh and the WiFi was quick enough for a 14 year old and his Xbox while the 12 year old was calling friends online....so we got peace and quiet on the master bedrooms little veranda....again with a chilled beverage or 3. A visit to St. Agnes was nice ...if you are lucky the local seals might say hello.
