About this apartment rental
This lovely apartment is located in the heart of Monteverde district, a stone's throw from Trastevere and the center of Rome.
The apartment is brand new and tastefully furnished, it is composed of a beautiful living room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, and two large double bedrooms, both with the possibility of extra bed, and private ensuite bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is very functional and it is equipped with everything you need for cooking. The apartment has a washing machine, air conditioning in the rooms, chromotherapy shower, ironing board and iron, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, tea and coffee making facilities,moka for Italian espresso coffee, flat screen TV in all rooms with channels in major foreign languages and free internet wifi.
There is also a beautiful library with Italian and foreign books for the book exchange, and maps and tourist information of Rome, all available free of charge to all our guests.
The apartment is on the ground floor, so it is easily accessible to everyone.
In the building there is also a luggage storage which will offer you the maximum flexibility outside the check-in and check-out time, and to take advantage of all your time to visit the city without your heavy luggage.
The apartment is located a few meters from San Giovanni di Dio square, where every morning takes place one of the most important markets of Rome where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, culinary typical products of the Roman culture and of the Lazio Region, and more.
Villa Pamphili Park, is also walking distance from the apartment. It is one of the bigger park of Rome and it is fantastic to go jogging or simply to relax under the sun.
The tram (no. 8) stop that reaches in few minutes Trastevere and the center of Rome (Piazza Venezia), is only 400 meters from the main door. In the square there are several other bus stops which bring you in other parts of the city.
The area where the apartment is located offers free parking in the street and it is full of all kinds of services: shops, restaurants, pubs, wine bars, cafés, pharmacies, banks, post offices, etc.
There is also the famous Gelateria "Da Tony" where you can enjoy one of the best homemade ice cream in Rome.
In the area there are the San Camillo Hospital, Forlanini Hospital and the “Città di Roma” Clinic , all within walking distance .

We loved the cozy feel of the property, perfect size for our family (two couples). Lots of neighbourhood restaurants and shops within walking distance. We even bought groceries (there are three in the area) to prepare a few meals. Public transport is just a short walk away. We always felt safe (it is a residential area). The trash receptors are across the street from the building/unit so lots of debris and dog poop in the neighbourhood. Watch where you are walking! 👀. Our hosts Marika, Stefano and Cristiano were awesome! Gave clear check in/out instructions and arranged for airport transfers for us! Were avail to us through whats app and left a bottle of wine for us when there was a minor issue with the unit. Also, there are books on the bookshelf to use/take and you can leave one as well. If coming from US, remember to travel with your electrical outlet adapter. Great time at Green Hill!

The unit was clean. Location was a little far from city center but the bus terminal was a short walk only from the unit. Steffano was very helpful for any question.
The Transtevere train terminal to FCO was only a few stops from from the bus terminal.
There was also multiple market/grocery near the apartment making it easy to purchase any necessity needed during our stay.
I recommend the Green Hill Apt.

The apartment is as described. Checking process is a bit escape foolish, but the instructions are clear. We had a car, and parking was as you expect in New York suburbs (good luck late at night). We tried taking public transport, but with traffic and bus delays, it still take 30-45 mins to get anywhere of interest. We stayed the last few days in Ladispoli in a bigger, cheaper place, and with the train we could get downtown in 45 mins to an hour. We went to the restaurant he recommended, it ended up being the most expensive meal we had in Italy.
