    A friend and I stayed here for 1 night so we could see the last post ceremony. The hotel is ideally located a minute or two to walk to the Menin Gate – the Last Post starts around 8pm but get there at least 30 minutes before if you want the best view as it gets busy. The hotel is more or less opposite the Ypres Museum and the In Flanders Fields museum and the Grote Markt where we parked our car. Check in was quick and easy, the room was fine - a comfortable bed and a nice, clean bathroom. Breakfast was a more than ample buffet with selections to meet most requirements. Because we were there only for 1 night, we didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but I have no problem in recommended the hotel for people visiting the town.
