Such a lovely place in a lovely location. Bus top near by to take you to the train station and easy transfer to Heidelberg. Great decor.
A little bit difficult to get up and down the stairs. Left the suitcases down stairs. lol. We had Wifi for one night and the next two days no wifi. When I messaged the hosts I got no response. :(

Alles hat uns gefallen. Wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus in Traumlage direkt beim alten Stadttor. Der Parkplatz gleich um die Ecke. Liebevoll und interessant dekoriert wie ein Museum, tolle Ausstattung. Unsere Vermieter haben uns bewirtet wie Freunde, einfach schön. Einen wunderbaren Rotwein zur Begrüßung, das ist schon besonders. Man will nicht mehr heim, weil es so schön dort ist. Wir kommen wieder. Vielen Dank für alles. Leider konnte ich mich bei Booking.com nicht anmelden, um mich direkt zu bedanken. Das Versenden des Codes ist extrem zeitintensiv. Das funktioniert nicht wirklich, auch von zuhause aus nicht. Sonst hätten wir uns gleich bedanken können.

It's a holiday house in a 13c castle so our expectations were set accordingly. However the only possible complaint after the renovation of the house is that the doors are still more suited to the under 1.80m tall person! :o)
Set over 3 floors there's a decent kitchen and dining area with a good lounge, decent tv and channels choice and bedrooms upstairs. The steps are quite steep so keep that in mind if you have toddlers or aged parents.
Easy to get access to the building with good communication from the owners and their concerns about building works at the YH opposite were unnecessary as work seemed to have stopped - just as well as in the 36'c heatwave we had all the windows open during the night to get a breeze through the house.
Outside there's not very much for the house but there are places to walk to inside the castle or around the castle walls if you want space or scenery to sit and read etc. Parking was easy in the nearby car park.
Not very disabled or mobility impared friendly building but then it is a 13c house and that wasn't too high a consideration back then!
