The low ceilings were a struggle for us- anyone taller than 5'8 should ask for one of the new rooms. They aren't historical rooms but just as charming!

A beautiful guesthouse with very friendly and helpful staff. We were made to feel very welcome by Marcus, the owner, and felt at home for the duration of our stay. The farmyard location and forest nearby was perfect. We loved the views, food (breakfast and dinner) and kittens.
The towels and bedding could have been a bit fresher.

The linens smelled bad, it was very hot and stuffy, and the room had a bad smell.

The host was helpful and offered an evening meal if we did not want to go back to the town to find food. Very old quirky wooden building.
Our room had a very low ceiling and the shower was even worse! Anyone over 5’8” will in trouble! The bed linen needs replacing. Car parking space was a bit tight.
