About this villa rental
Joseph Villa is built on a slope of a mountain offering a majestic view over Kournas Lake and the sea . The mountains are reflected into the lake creating a beautiful picture and when the sun falls behind them the view becomes breathtaking...You can spent many relaxing afternoons at the lake strolling, swimming, riding a pedalo or even eating or drinking a coffee at one of the restaurants with lake view. For more amenities the fishing village of Georgioupolis - the starting point of a long, sandy beach - is 6km away.
The 2000sq.m. garden of the villa is covered with colourful plants, olive trees and grass. Every part of the garden offers great view. The big, private pool has a children's area. There are sunbeds and parasols where you can relax enjoying the tranquillity of the area and hearing the sounds of a rural village. There are two covered verandas both furnished with garden sets and offering sea/lake view. There is one more veranda facing the mountains.
Joseph Villa is a two floor building. The living area with the fireplace is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and a traditional Cretan sofa. An arch separates the kitchen and the dining set from the living area. On this floor there are also a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Wooden stairs lead at the first floor that consists of one twin bedroom, one double bedroom, a bathroom and two verandas.

This is a stunning villa in a beautiful location! We stayed for a week in April and loved every minute. The villa was spotless and comfortable inside with comfy beds and everything you need for a family break.
It is located just above the lake so you get amazing views and are surrounded by peaceful countryside. Local town is close with everything you need and a lovely small beach for easy trips out. The pool is fabulous and our kids loved it despite it being a bit fresh in April.
The owner is very helpful but non intrusive and even brought us lovely treats from homemade pastries to snacks and Raki!

Der Empfang unseres Gastgebers war sehr herzlich und wir wurden mit einem großen Willkommenslebensmittelpaket überrascht! Das Haus und der Garten inkl. Pool waren sehr sauber und gepflegt! Wir fühlten uns auf Anhieb heimisch! Während des 1 wöchigen Aufenthaltes kam nach Vorankündigung 1 x die Reinigungskraft, die Betten (sehr gemütlich) wurden frisch bezogen und die Handtücher wurden ausgetauscht und das komplette Haus wurde gereinigt. Die Aussicht ist großartig, auf einen Blick erfasst man den Kournas-See und das Meer. In der Nähe gibt es einige sehr gute Tavernen. Wer einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub verbringen möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen das Haus weiter!

Schönes Haus, super Lage, netter unkomplizierter Vermieter, es war alles im Haus vorhanden einschließlich einer kleinen Auswahl an Lebensmittel, so dass man nicht unbedingt sofort einkaufen musste.
