We had a wonderful time here. The villa is in a lovely, quiet location, but still close enough to the hustle and bustle of nearby tourist towns. Everything was nice and clean, particularly the pool, thanks to the lovely Christine. There was plenty of outdoor seating and lots of options (chairs, lounge beds, etc). The wi-fi worked great, and it has all the mod-cons needed. Super little welcome pack organised by Christine, and that was very much needed as we got to the property relatively late. Great to have hot water on tap with a quick push of the immersion heater button. Also good to have a small washing machine to freshen up clothes during the week (and there's a clothes airer and pegs).
Possible improvements: better lounge seating (the property can hold six people, but there was only one medium couch and two wingback chairs—none of it was particularly comfortable). More comfortable mattresses (bit on the thin side, but this could be a continental thing since we've experienced the same thing in Spanish villas). Heated pool (even if at extra cost)—probably not a priority because it can get super warm in the summer months, but for a later break, it was near impossible to bear. Sturdier door screens to keep the local, and very pushy, cats out of the villa (it was impossible to leave the doors open to get air into the villa due to one particular cat's insistence on gaining entry).
Overall, would definitely recommend.
