Hôtel Best Western The Wish Versailles

The bed was very comfortable and there was air con which was very good and kept us cool as it was very hot during our stay. Breakfast was very good, and when the restaurant was available the food was of high class. The staff were attentative, friendly and helpful. The pool and the area around it was a bonus. There was a water station in the lobby with bottles you coulf fill as needed which was very useful for the room and when going out. I would compare this property to a UK travel lodge / travel inn, mostly used for business or stop overs.

Our allocated room was small with very little hanging space and no draws but as a couple we managed living out of our suit case, I feel the room was possibly not the "Queen" room booked, but all the rooms were on the small size anyway. The area is very remote if you don't have a car though the buses ran frequently.

Rooms and building appear a bit old.

The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. The pool was a big hit especially as the temperatures were very hot The hotel is well kept and managed well. Free parking and ample too. rooms comfortable, air con was a plus, lovely shower to cool down.

Breakfast was a bit over priced considering the scrambled eggs were cold and you had to cook other eggs yourself.

Proximity for visit to Versailles. Rooms were clean.

Staff vaguely disinterested. Breakfast selection poor, with no-one really overseeing need to replenish items.
