About this bed and breakfast
Ocotillo is a private room with independent access and its own bathroom on the upmost level of the El Tamarindo at Casa Calamondin family complex. The complex is a short two-block walk from Zihuatanejo's best beach, Playa la Ropa, and convenient to a number of great restaurants as well as public transportation that goes right by the front door.
The room holds one queen bed, fridge, table and chairs, chest of drawers, and has a large closet. A coffee maker is available. It is air conditioned, has a ceiling fan, and has wonderful views over the La Ropa area toward the bay. The bathroom has a roomy shower with plenty of hot water.
Ocotillo room is one of several independent rooms and apartments behind and above the main house and is accessed via exterior pathways and four stairways that wind up from street level through the garden. There's free Wifi in the room and on the rooftop terrace outside, where you can chill in a hammock under the thatched roof or take in some rays on the wide open rooftop. There is also a small dipping pool off the lower front terrace of the house that guests are welcome to use.
Weekly basic housekeeping and change of linens and towels are included. Kitchen privileges are not included with this room.

We have stayed at Carol’s apartments many times. They are basic apartments but we enjoy them. Felica, the property manager is delightful and very helpful. The location is very convenient.

Such a beautiful and charming place. Convenient to the beach and even can take a longer walk into Zihua central district. We loved this place!

Terrific location in La Ropa with less than 10 min walk to the beach and transportation right outside the door. We enjoyed a 5 week stay and the Owner and Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would definately recommend this property

Carol's apartment was clean and accommodating. Her manager Felisa was always available to answer all of our questions. It's a 7 minute walk to Play la Ropa beach. Perfect location. Jungle Pizza a block away! Restaurants in every direction. This is our second stay at Carol's place... We'll be back!
