About this apartment rental
Located in the charming village of Duingt with direct views on Annecy Lake and surrounding mountains (Haute-Savoie, France), my "Modern Loft" is a fully-equipped and modern 47 square meters one-bedroom apartment located on the ground-floor for up to 4 people. The residence has private access to the lake for swimming. You may also consider my two other listings "Stylish Upper Loft" and "Cozy Loft" for further availability.
The apartment: You'll enjoy the charm of the region from a peaceful and cozy home, a short drive from Annecy Old Town. High ceilings give a comfortable amount of light and appreciable volume.
Double bedroom, extension for two persons on the sofabed. Baby-bed available. Bathroom with shower and independent toilet. Balcony/Terrace. Private car park slot and shared storage for skis / bikes.
The residence is a few meters away from the cycling lane circling Lake Annecy, a 12-minutes drive from the charming Old Town and 30-min from nearest ski resorts.
Bakery and supermarket 100 m, pharmacy 2 km.
Residence private access to the lake for short swims (boat moorings booking: please contact Doussard Town Hall). Suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Wifi internet included.

La vue est incroyable, l'appartement très joli et bien décoré, accès privé au lac, très bien situé, place de parking. La seule chose négative, on a voulu tester avec mon petit chien, du coup logement ou les animaux sont acceptés et l'odeur dans l'appartement était forte..

We was given a warm welcome by Sylvie and her husband who was on hand through tout our stay.
The apartment is nice but felt it was in totally the wrong place. Had it been on the top floor and not the ground floor we would have been happier. We are also a couple that like windows open of a night but there were no windows to open so found the apartment a little opressive.
Unfortunately the lake view was almost non existant, trees blocked the view, the view you get from the apartment is of the car park through a green wire fence. If you like car/bike/lorry/coach spotting, the road outside will suit you perfect-the traffic is non stop from early morning; the weekends in August were horrendous.
On the plus side, we loved walking through the old village, loved the mountains and loved Lake Annency and would return, but not here.
We spent little time in the apartment only using it as a place to sleep and did not enjoy the apartment to relax in as we usually do. It was a shame, but was just not for us. Sorry.
