About this villa rental
Villa Eleonas is a 100m2 traditional stone built house with lots of outdoor space, a big private pool and wonderful views to the jewel of Crete, the White Mountains. Its layout is simple and operational offering many useful facilities such as a private pool, air-conditioners in every room and free WIFI just to name but a few.
Starting from inside, the house consists of 2 floors, the ground floor and the first floor. Upon entering the house from downstairs, there is a big open space with sofas, a big dining area and a beautiful traditional fireplace. The kitchen is on the left in a separate room. It is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, kitchenware, a big dishwasher, coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave oven. There is also a small dining table for 4. Moreover, downstairs there is a bathroom (with a shower and a washing machine) and a cosy and spacious master bedroom where a crib can be placed upon request. Wooden stairs lead to the upstairs part of the house. Here there are 2 twin bedrooms with beds that can become double ones, and a bathroom with a shower. There is access to a big outdoor veranda with sofas and marvelous views to the mountains and the pool.
The outdoor space is vast, with a big private pool (7.5m x 4m and 1.70m maximum depth) in the backyard, 6 sunbeds and umbrellas as well as outdoor sofas under a wooden pergola, barbecue facilities, and a landscaped garden. Outside the living room, there is also a shaded dining area equipped with a table and chairs. Upstairs, there are 2 big balconies which can be accessed from both inside and outside the house - with pergolas and sofas – overlooking the magnificent rural landscape and the White Mountains which look stunning all year round.
The house is located in a huge plot we own which offers our guests the chance to encounter first hand some elements of farm life just by walking around the 13.000 square meter plot. There is parking space all over this plot as well as in the area of the villa. The plot is also gated and can be accessed by 2 streets.
In general our philosophy as a family run business is to provide comfort and as many amenities as possible guaranteeing memorable and trouble free holiday in our beautiful island which we are so proud of. We are always at our guests’ disposal trying to cater for their each and every need, as guest satisfaction is our number one priority.
Location
Apart from the house itself, the location is central enough to anything. The nearest beach, Ombrosgialos, is a 5- minute drive away while other popular sandy beaches are from 10 to 20 minutes away.
The historical cities of Chania and Rethimno are less than an hour drive. Other villages with handy shops with local products are just 2 to 5 minutes away. You can also find some traditional tavernas in great proximity offering delicious Cretan dishes in reasonable prices.

Thank you Ilia & Marianna, we’ve had a fantastic time. The Villa, garden & surroundings were perfect. Amazing views of the mountains and so quiet (except the odd cockerel :-)).
This place is a real gem and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Eleonas. Lovely location, really private and felt very secure. The house was so well equipped we didnt need anything! Communication with the owner was super quick and amazingly helpful. Would definitely stay again, thank you for such a lovely holiday! Xx

Marianna and her team are really nice hosts and we felt relaxed from the beginning on. The house is beautiful and spacious and has everything you need for your comfort. We loved the lounge corner and the pool - it is perfect to relax and swim.It is very calm there - only one other house next door and no traffic. Also the view is wonderful. To the beaches it is a 20-30 Minutes drive. That was okay for us as we didn't need to go there every day.The landscape is beautiful and there are also very good and nice restaurants nearby (Kefalas and Vamos).The Hospitality and friendlyness of Marianna and her team and also of the other cretan people was remarkable. So we can say that we had a wonderful stay and very relaxed holidays and we can fully recommend this location.
