The location was convenient, right by the freeway. There is ample parking room. The staff is friendly.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

It’s an older, but very well maintained property with nicely modernized rooms with high ceilings. The continental breakfast featured belgian waffle irons, which was a plus.
The AC unit could be too loud and come on too often at night. But it can easily be turned off once you figure out the button configuration on the wall thermostat. Also, while I appreciate the availability and the size of the mini fridge, mine did not cool my food sufficiently. A quick swap out with a newer unit should fix that.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Shower was good. Toilet flushed well. Room was reasonably quiet, some road noise but not intrusive. Bed was ok. Breakfast was good.
Elevator buttons needed to be pressed multiple times to get the elevator to work. Toilet handle was hard to press. On Saturday, instead of waffles there were pancakes, which were rubbery and not tasty. There was a ridiculous system to control the lights. The room key was to be put in a slot on the wall to turn on the lights. When the key was removed all the lights went out in about 30 seconds. If you have to get up during the night to use the bathroom, you have to grope for the key and then turn on all the lights - blinding you and waking you up completely, and disturbing anyone else in the room. The lights work if you just put a piece of paper in the slot. This asinine design is enough to keep me from staying at this hotel again.
