Casablanca Inn on The Beach

For the value dont think its worth it because the room was very small and had no "partial view of the ocean" as booked. I was given a room with a street view. I had previously requested the room from my previous stay but my request wasn't received. Find it expensive for the type of room of received: very small room, street view, and the person via the text at customer service wasn't friendly, and on top of the expensive room stay you have to pay $35 for parking. I had a great stay last visit but this visit made me rethink booking here from the experience.

Wonderful spot for a Santa Cruz visit

I’ll start off by saying we had stayed here several years ago, and enjoyed our stay, which is why we booked this visit. Which is why we’re were so disappointed this time. The hardwood floors in the rooms were filthy from the beginning, our socks were black just from walking across the room. Half of the lights didn’t work in the room or the bathroom. We didn’t have towels, and when I went to get some from the front desk, was only given 2 for 3 guests. We paid a pretty penny for this place, partially because of location, but should have clean and fully operational rooms too. Pillows were also very small, oddly enough. They were like kid sized pillows, maybe twin size, but definitely not full sized pillows.

We stayed one night.It's a very generic room, nothing special, you are paying for its location and that's it. I dont think the front desk staff at check in knew how to smile or be courteous. Would I stay again probably not for that price.
