I liked the location as it is the closest to the main access point to the Pre Trails. It’s a beautiful park for runners and walkers. The room was comfy and clean. We did partake in the complimentary breakfast our last day there and it was good. They served eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, assorted muffins and breads, yogurt, fruits, cereals, milk, coffee, juices, waffle maker. Essentially something for everyone. The breakfast room staff made sure it was clean, very clean in fact. Bring some $$$ to tip. I’d stay there again.
Mcmenamins is a short walk for lunch and dinner. The only choice within walking distance for normal people is the complimentary hotel breakfast. But it’s a good breakfast. I did ask for and did receive a room overlooking the park. We were happy with the view over the duck pond and park. I imagine it’s better than the other side looking over the busy road?
