The breakfasts were over-the-top Southern hospitality. However, my husband and I don't generally eat sweets and our hostess observed me picking over my cinnamon-toast pancakes (slathered in sugary topping), she kindly offered something more protein-based the following morning. We also enjoyed the common table and conversing with the other guests, and the wine and cheese in the garden was a nice touch.
The room, while clean, had lots of artificial flower arrangements that were full of dust (to which I am allergic). I am tall, and I noticed the tops of things were also dusty. The bathroom, however, was spotless.

Pettigru Place B&B is a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast is excellent. The room is very cozy and inviting. Restaurants, shops and park are in walking distance. The hosts are very friendly. There are so many little details that make our stay outstanding.
