Best massages ever at the Lighthouse Spa (on site, near pool). Large, heated swimming pool and hot spa (jacuzzi) and a great massage was great for apres ski.
Dinner at Cider Pub was delicious. Awesome vegan choices available as well as the usual meat and fish choices. The chef is superb. We enjoyed a buffet breakfast there too. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Ask for a ground floor room if you prefer less stairs!

Grandlibakken has everything you need for a perfect Tahoe adventure- clean and spacious accommodations, quiet location close to Palisades & Alpine, a cute pub on-site, and just 5 minutes from downtown Tahoe City. Highly recommend!

The hotel is well off the main road in the trees, so it's nice and quiet. It's older, but it's clean. There's a nice pool and huge hot tub outside, plus tennis/ pickleball courts. There's a great restaurant with outside seating on a deck - Cedar House Pub - that's attached to the lobby. The Treetop Adventures course is also right on the grounds - I walked to it in less than 5 minutes - so fun! I was excited about it saying there was yoga, but it's just a large room with mats where you can meditate or do your own yoga. There's also a small gym setup. I didn't try the spa services. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were both friendly and helpful. It's only about a 5 minute drive to the main shopping area and Commons Beach in Tahoe City, plus other nearby restaurants etc. The Tahoe Bakery is right by where you turn off the main road and is really good too. Enjoy a retreat!
