The motel manager is very nice and helpful. we remembered that from our stay there last summer and that was one of the reasons we came back
difficult to find safe place to jog in the morning as the highway is heavily trafficked

We did not eat the breakfast. Drove to a restaurant. Cleaning staff was very pleasant. Liked location of Golden Chain Motel. Near Grass Valley, CA. Off Hiway 49, up a steep driveway to enter parking area. Quiet. Would be good to install a vertical grab bar to the right of bathtub/shower for ease of entry/exit to the tub. Towel had an odor like perhaps they had not been sufficiently rinsed. Our room was the size of a small studio apartment. Golden Chain located in a forested area.
We would return.

when I wiped up spilled water on the floor my napkin was black and dirty.
